Academics
I attended Barnet Elementary School from kindergarten to the eighth grade and graduated on the honor roll and received several certificates of completion and special awards. I decided to attend Blue Mountain Union School as my school choice, where I am now a senior. I wanted the small school atmosphere where I knew I could succeed if I gave it my best shot. I am on the National Honor Society. I have been on the honor roll since I started school here as a Freshman and just finished about the first quarter on the high honor roll. I also participate in sports and received a congressional art award at the 45th annual art competition held in Montpelier, VT. My reduction print was picked out of 150 entries from all over the state. I also was put on the Central Vermont League All Star Team for Cross Country and finished 5th overall in the CVL. I also enjoy playing basketball and was the captain of the JV team as a sophmore. When I am not busy with school, I am in my shop working on my dirt bikes as I race the summer circuit where I finished in 3rd place for the year in the big bike category. and 1st in the youth (younger than 18). I plan on going to college and becoming a mechanic.
